Skaters of any age can sign up themselves and add themselves as an athlete. Parents and guardians can also create their own account and add their children as athletes — you don't need to be the skater to have an account.

Yes. Inline and Quad are independent disciplines — tick both when registering and you'll get a separate division/skill-level (and challenge-up) picker for each one.

Yes. The wizard will tell you they'll race as their own coach at this meet and ask you to acknowledge it — that's completely normal, they can race every event and still sign up for pick-a-partner relays. The meet's Director is told automatically so nothing looks out of place. You can add a team or coach at any time afterward from the athlete's profile, or use Ask a coach.

Use Ask a coach on the athlete's row (Registration or Team roster). Pick a suggested or searched coach; they get a notice and accept or decline it themselves. Nothing changes until they accept — you can cancel a pending request, remove a coach later, or ask someone else.

Meets can run several pricing windows, each with its own deadline and price; the registration page always shows which window is active. Once every pricing window for a meet has passed, you can no longer self-serve an entry package there — contact the meet's Director directly.

It lets a skater also race a harder division than their own — for example a Novice skater challenging into an Elite race, or an Elite skater challenging into the next Elite tier — where the meet allows it. It defaults to No; you opt in per athlete (and per discipline, if they're entering both Inline and Quad).

Ask the meet's Director, Assistant Director, or a Superadmin to reissue it — gate and race staff can't do this. Meets set their own fee (free, or at least $5 up to $100). A free reissue is issued right away; a paid one once payment goes through. The old number is retired for good, and any heat that hasn't started yet is updated to the new bib — but heats that already have a result keep the original number.

It's a separate, optional choice (per athlete, per category) about whether MeetMoment can show or sell photos/video tagged with your skater at meets. Declining does not affect the registration itself in any way, and it's separate from the Terms of Service and any meet waiver. You can change your answer anytime from Media Consent in your account.

No — on meets that run this mode, you sign your skater up individually for any relay they're eligible for, and the Director draws teams from everyone who signed up (across clubs, ages kept close, and a fair split of girls/boys for a Mixed relay). It's free, and you can untick it any time before teams are drawn.

Yes, from your dashboard or schedule page. Look them up by bib number at that meet, or their exact full name and club — there's no browsable list of every athlete. Once followed, their heats show up in your My schedule. Your own athletes (as a family member or coach) don't need this — they're on your schedule automatically.

No — once you have one athlete, adding a sibling offers a "use details from…" shortcut. It only copies the shared last name and team; you still enter each child's own birth date, and you still answer medical notes and media consent separately for each of them.
